Like I said, I'm pretty sure it's staged (board mostly sawed through) because it breaks, apparently cleanly right at the fulcrum.

Otherwise she'd be pulling splinters out of her cervix...

You are probably right

Board is breaking from when the first person lands on it. It is already broken by the time it hits.

If that board had been stronger it would have lifted the person it hit on impact. Could probably have not noticeable armor to protect from the weakened hit of the broken board.
