From a Jarhead friend of mine...

Tail Gunner

This happened on a flight getting ready to depart for New Orleans. Jack was sitting on the plane when a guy took the seat beside him.

The guy was an emotional wreck, pale, hands shaking, moaning in fear. "What's the matter?" Jack asked.

"I've been transferred to New Orleans, there's crazy people there.

They've got lots of shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs, poor public schools, and the highest crime rate."

Jack replied, "I've lived in New Orleans all my life. It's not as bad as the media says. Find a nice home, go to work, mind your own business, enroll your kids in a nice private school. It's as safe a place as anywhere in the world."

The guy relaxed and stopped shaking and said, "Oh, thank you. I've been worried to death. But if you live there and say it's OK, I'll take your word for it. What do you do for a living ?"

"Me ?" said Jack. "I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck."

Vinny, I'm insanely jealous of your offshre racer. I have always wanted to go for a blast in one of those things. Hearing those 2 V8s (or V12s) at full song would be glorious!

What engine combo are you running?

My brother and i have had a few ski boats. One with a supercharged 350 chev and another with a 250hp merc outboard.

Edited - offensive pic removed. -Z-man.

c'mon Z it was funny mate

Sorry all, no offence intended

And we could care less of all the photo's of anything related to Southwest Airlines, but we do not complain about it on the thread.

Live and let live, so if you do not like some of the posts go do a transponder check or do a hot section inspection until they have gone away!

Made a deal with them and removed the body from the floorpan, they helped me lift it onto my existing VW and drove the double decker car home.

The last 2 miles a cop followed me. After I got home he stopped and told me that he was just waiting for it to fall off. He had been in touch with dispatch and they could not figure out any laws that I had broken so he just waited. Shook his head then drove off...

Swapped the two bodies at home that weekend and drove off into the sunset. This is the only other time I have seen someone crazy enough to do this stunt!

At least the plane did not hit the fine Porsche. The pilot might have missed the terminal a bit, but the passengers were happy because they got to eat their one pack dinner of peanuts. It's all in fun, plus I dont know whose dog that is, but it's not mine.

You are correct!
