what looks like bird's eggs are actually Civil War bullets of various types my friend's father found locally over the years. There's many more I couldn't fit into the shot.

Any chance for a close up photo of some of these? They look awful big for bullets, even ones in the civil war era.

Joe, there really isn't much for perspective in that picture, but try looking that the red labels on the boxes.

Joe, I was standing right there wondering what they were. until I picked one up, I had no idea what they were. yes, there are some very large ones. as big as my thumb. hate to been hit with one of those. he's got grape shot, cannon balls.. all kinds of things. many civil war battles were fought right here in town. I'll go back there today and get some pics of the different sizes. he's the same guy with the collection of WWII German guns. I'll get pics of those also if I can

Joe, here's a small representation of different bullets he has with a quarter there for reference. I was told he has upwards of 20,000 of these things along with many other relics like buttons and metal uniform articles.

Taken minutes ago by my brother via Blackberry at a major utility company headquarters. Apparently, he was snoring so loudly, nobody could get any work done. Ahh, life in the cubicles

By the way - that road train is NOT a photoshop. They really do have road trains that big in the Northern Territory. Very common to find ones carrying cattle as well.

When it comes to overtaking - either find a very long straight road or get out of the way.
