Was it the front cabin SES100A or the aft cabin SES100B crews which recieved the 100 knot pins?

One of the much later SES's have been fitted with a mid-mounted lifting body wing/foil.

Surface Effect Ships. Within the Aerodynamics Department at Carderock, work on advanced surface effect ships began as early as 1957, leading to SES 100A by Aerojet-General (foreground) and 100B by Bell-Textron in the early 1970s.

Could it be a sport coupe + station wagon concept?

This new secret superboat is the latest British weapon to help fight the war on terror. The stealth boat, to be used by the Royal Marines, is thought to be capable of reaching speeds of about 70mph.

George,
My dad worked for Aerojet, first in CA, then in Tacoma. So it was the 100A that he worked on. He still says it was the most fun he had on any project. He used to tell me the Bell Jet Ranger had a hard time keeping up with the 100A when they were doing the high speed tests. They had a Cesna 185 for the higher speed work. So yes, 100 mph plus was its top speed.

She's hot. Better than the scrawny she-boys I've seen on this forum.
