In 1969 a new trim package called 'Cuda was released. The 'Cuda, based on the Formula S option, was available with either the 340, 383 and, new for 1969, the 440 Super Commando V8.

Mopar nut here.. he is correct 100 % an easy way to remember Cuda vs Barracuda is think of Cuda as the high performance model. Barracuda more of a base model..small engine etc...
