Lots of New Members Lately?
Does it seem like the BBS has been getting new members at an unusually rapid pace lately? I think I'm seeing more new people (low post number) than I normally do. Are Wayne's ads in Excellence, etc, paying off?

Weather is cooling off. Wait until the snow flies! (Snow? What's that?)

I've noticed that too...but I have not been posting as often lately.
Moneyguy1...stop talking about snow... ...that is something we don't want to think about yet...at least not until after our fall porsche drive weekend mid Oct.

Yeah..We look forward to our annual two inches of the stuff. Of course in the mountains 18 miles away it is a different story..all the snow one could want!! Even a ski resort at the 9500 foot level.....
Hope your Fall is a long and pleasant one and that Winter is kind.

I'm somewhat new.
I didn't find the site tell after I tore down my motor and needed to step my research on 930 motor projects. I'm glad I found this BBS and am also glad that I live in an area where you can drive a nice car any time of the year. Last edited by 350HP930; 09-24-2003 at 03:38 PM.. |

I'm brand new to this BBS and Porsche. This BBS, the members, archives and Pelican Parts Technical articles are invaluable. I've changed disc pads, freed up a caliper piston, changed oil and filters, diagnosed a dying fuel pump, am getting ready to take the altenator out for a rebuild, tightened up the steering wheel with a sleeve, successfully painted my Targa bar, replaced the seats and rails, put a new smile on, yadda, yadda. All at minimal expense. Maybe I can afford to keep my '82 SC Targa. The only thing I couldn't get an answer to was a dash question. Oh well, I put on a cap. If I think I can provide a helpfull response, I do. I've only owned the car a few months, but have been driving it for a year and a half, making trips from S.C. to N.Y., the beach where I live to the mountains and Florida. 18,000 miles with a smile on my face. I even enjoy Tabs as well as those other guys. Thank you Pelican.
