Question Attorney's please look! Pelican member needs help on Porsche transaction gone BAD!!!

Greetings,

Moderators, I appologise as this is off topic but a fellow forum member on the 944 board really needs help. Apparently, he purchased a 944 Turbo, PAID IN FULL, and it seems that seller has skipped town. It's been MONTHS and the seller has been coming up with stories at to why the car has not been delivered.

The thread is a bit long, but this guy (an Air Force soldier, no less) has really been getting the run around.

He has been keeping the forum updated on his situation, and he's hearing a lot of different things, but no real solid advice as to how he should best handle this.

The car was purchased from the owner in Colorado. The purcahser is in the Air Force and I can't remember where he is right now, but it is an out-of-state purchase.

If someone with experience in these matters, or an attorney, could perhapse take the time to review the post, the guys situation, and perhapse give him some direction as to how to proceed with this matter it would be much appreciated.

Hate to see anyone go through what he's going though!

Thank you very much, the thread link is below:

Watch out for this guy

I dunno - I just realised that was going on the beginning of the year (wipes egg off face).

Didn't realise it was such an old thread. Sorry guys.

I remember VIPRKLR.

Didn't he have an early 911 that was stolen from a cinema or something?

Yeah. That's right Adam, he did have his 911 stolen.
He hasn't posted on the 911 board in over two years.
