New Porsche product line
Flush with their successful introduction of the Cayenne models, the manufacturer of the Porsche line of vehicles has announced the introduction of their newest product, which is a series of lawn mowers. The model is designated the 95.9, which is the displacement in cubic centimeters, comes in a variety of trims which begin with the normally aspirated model, and tops out with a twin turbo five valve model. All models are available with an optional carbon fiber body, sports trim and hollow cast mag wheels. The cutting height is automatically controlled, and is speed dependent. Therr are rumors that there are future plans to introduce this product line into racing venues, and that future models may see an increase in displacement to 96.8 or 98.6 cc, well below the maximum of 100cc allowed for competition units. It is unsubstantiated, but experts feel that the pricing structure will be approximately $5,000 for the entry level, rising to $12,000 for a fully optioned model, making it more expensive per cc than any previous Porsche model. The company is hoping that the entry into this new field will further enhance the diversification goals and that they are working on future products which may include hedge trimmers and a turbocharged tiller.

I use the old-style push-reel type. It's lighter weight, and short wheel base makes it quicker in the corners.
![]() So is this new lawn equipment coming out before or after their Hydrogen powered, supercooled-electic (w/ ceramic brakes) golf-cart?

Sounds great, but will it snap timing belts, break head studs, rust through its longitudinals, and provide the owner with a generous helping of dash cracks just like the fun Porsches?
I'll take my Cayenne in Speed Yellow, thank you very much.

there are also rumors that Porsche has acquired the patents to the Flymo line of wheelless mowers. they are planning on introducing them under the new PoMo line. the top of the line model will be equipped with "flying operator" option that consists of a seat enabling the operator to 'fly' with his mower. this model will be called the PoMoFo. look for them at your local Chubby & Tubby soon
