My Avatar wont change. I go thru the motions but have the same avatar when im done. doesnt tell me its too big or anything. the avatar is a custom uploaded from my PC and fits all requirements.

This may be coincidental, but frequently when I try to follow a link, it acts like a packet was dropped somewhere and the page never comes up. Never saw this with the old server.

I don't go near IE unless I have trouble at a site using MS clsid extensions.
I manage our T1 connection when it demands attention, packets were leaving our router bound for PP and no responses were coming back. The PP board was the only server exibiting the problem and I was visiting other sites at the same time. However, the reason I remembered to check up on this thread was an email report an hour ago about potential DoS attacks at the internet backbone coop. I think we should write this mornings glitches off as a side effect that was hosing routes in your general direction. |

It seems like the "Quick Reply" post doesn't post in real time. I posted something on the "What 911 lost sight off" thread around 10am and it didn't actually appear until 10:30 - 11:00am. Same thing happened on the same thread later in the day - posted a quick reply around 4:30 pm and still hasn't appeared on the thread. Didn't notice this issue with prior posts on other server.

Just testing the wildcard function and doesn't appear to work. Tried searching for the word cabin with cab* cabi* and even *cab*. The only match I get is where I tried to report the problem earlier. I get an exact match to cab* when I search for cab* maybe there is a place I have to specify that I am using the wild card.
EDIT: just retried by selecting the partial match located instead of exact match located under search for username. Same result as earlier only get an exact match.

Searching appears to be screwed up. I was looking for some info I put in an old post, and it didn't turn up. I know the word Mahle was in the post, but the only post that search turns up from my username is a really old one about my BBS wheels.
I know I have posted about Mahle a bunch of times, when I sold some Moritz pistons, about the differences between Mahle and KS, about my new pistons, but none of them show up. In fact, if you search for Mahle on the 911 board, it only comes up 35 times total, and only once this year. Tom |
