What's the big deal with MIT? I drove by there and it looks like a giant high school populated by nerds. My college (WPI) at least looked like a college.

(I confirmed this true fact with my Brother [MIT Grad 1980]).

FWIW? Evren, (our guy in Istanbul) AND his wife Ruki are both MIT grads. They are delightful people. Ruki is the only woman I've met who actually enjoys cruising through the tool department of a Sears store. She's an architect, Evren's a biz guy. But don't hold that against him, okay?

Maybe so, but, IMHO, MIT pulls off better pranks than Cal Tech...

Touche

Actually, I can spell quite well, but when I type, these keys don't seem to listen.

My Uncle went to MIT but it was Morries Institute of Technology a little store front on the lower eastside, probably not the same school. Thank you, I'll be here all week, try the veal.

I was sent to MIT some years ago to learn about trajectories of projectiles.
The professor teaching the course was very understanding of a bunch of young louts who cared less about the curve of the bullet just as long as it hit the target.
We did learn the basics...and to his credit...he gave us all a passing mark.
I heard later that we were just about his last class...he died of cancer while we were in Viet Nam....no justice in this world for a man who just wanted to impart knowledge to people.

We elected a bodybuilder for governor and made Porsche make an SUV. How much bigger pranks do you want?

Strange how people don't refer to him as an actor....I wonder if people remember Wayne's an engineer or if he's just become "that Porsche guy".
