What I can't decided is if the car looks funny without the window trim and little side window, the fiberglass doors don't seem to be consitant on including the side window and trim or leaving it off completely.
Jim,

I have thought about that. Ideally, you would want something as aerodynamic as possible, and I have to conclude that running without windows at all has got to impose a pretty significant drag penalty. I think some kind of a lightweight quarter-window frame would be good. PCA rules prohibit having any door windows at all in the GT classes, but a quarter window might ease it somewhat.

I have a 1968 door on my car and actually have the little windows that open (swing out to catch more air) and I will confess, I usually run with the window open wide catching as much air os possible. I figure the extra drag is offset by my cooler body allowing me to make better decisions, and thus turn a faster lap time. I guess it might make a good "winter" project (for me here in CA) to put in some other form of cooling.

Speaking of cooling I should add cooling to my 930 brakes, I managed to use the technique of drilling a hole in the trailing arm to get access to the bolts on the rear calipers.

On the rear calipers, I use a much smaller torque wrench, but one made I think by the same company, looks the same any way.

I keep it near the beer fridge in the garage....

I'm thinking of buying a Porsh and this will be my first one. My budget is $17k. What can I get and what should I look out for. I did a search, but could not find anything on this. Please help.

This is quite possibly the most informative thread on all topics I've ever seen.

Is it ok to yell movie in a crowded firehouse?

How about if NPR did classified ads? That should solve all of our problems.

One that, when nobody is around, does not make a sound when it falls but a big kaboom if they are there.

Back to the original topic. So, yes the Cohiba's I just got are great. Nice spice, good finish and excellent burn. Scored a solid 89 in CA mag. Any others?

My cool collar keeps peeling the labels off of my glass bottle beers.

I did a search and found nothing.

I am thinking of using an old headliner to wrap the bottles first, but am concerned that there will not be enough thermodynamic transfer either to or from the ice cold bottle.

I can actually detect a cool breeze underneath the drink holder in the door panel, and this is still better than the A/C output at idle.

Any ideas?
