gotta love free stuff......especially when it can tow a porsche

yep....my father gave me his '88 3/4 ton suburban, other than needing some bodywork and a new rear door it's mechanically cool
going to pick it up today.........this is even better than the free boat i got this summer
now i just need a trailer........i'll post pics later after i get back
just felt like gloating

88' suburban 3/4ton a bit rusty but runs like a champ and did i mention it was FREE

Cool

Perfect IMO

Nobody in their right mind would even consider stealing it. If you never wash it people won't even want to walk close to it. And I bet you'll get a lot of respect at 4 way stop signs..And if you leave any expensive tools in paper food store bags they'll be completely safe.. Do the nuts and bolts stuff and you got the perfect transport.. BTW, did you freeze your nuts off ?

That's a cool truck, Bell.

I'd love one of those here for a beater. Imagine the sound gear you could fit in that thing! That'll tow your boat like it's not even behind that thing, too.

Pretty cool, IMO.

ummmmm........my nutz were frozen, it was an unusually long ride LOL

i'm parting out my turbo omni (rot sucks) so the audio gear that is in that is going in the suburban, but will be completely steath.
gotta lot of work to do.........an example, my dad left the rear window open so some tiny critters had a home, gotta spend a few hours with the super sucker, i don't mind if daily drivers are worn out a little but man......there had to be a whole family of chipmunks living in this thing LOL
