Optimism
For the first time since 2000 I feel optimistic about the New Year.
My legal suit regarding my home is well in hand. My liquid asset base has made a nice recovery. All in all things seem to be going my way. One of the things I want to do in this New Year is get my Porsche going again. For many years it was a side tracked interest. But after reviewing the state of my other interests...I find that their isn't much left for me to collect that I really want. Oh sure there are bits and pieces of really hard to come by things that could side track me...like an 1877 Sharps Long Range, but you only see those on the market once every 5 years or so. Or a set of Porter Blanchard Greek Key flat ware...never have seen one. Or a Griffin & Howe custom rifle in 22 Hornet...seen one about 4 years ago. So it looks like the 911S's turn has come. Anyway here are some year end pictures: The last of Tuddy: ![]() Snow in LV...we had 3 inches night before last, which was the first time it snowed here in 1850 days. ![]() The BIG flea Hotel: ![]() The Rodent Catcher: ![]() |

My condolences regarding the tabby and best of spirit to you for the next year. A decade ago I had a pure white longhair with big green eyes that used to bring home dead mice and leave them around the appartment. After I scolded her and put the mice in her dish, she brought me a live one. Soon after she was run over by a car. I'll never forget the green of the grass, the white of her fur, or the splash of red.
Best of luck to you in your endevors.
