anyone know of a good daily driver 4 sale?

My drummer is looking for a reliable car that can haul drums. I was thinking Honda Civic hatchback. He has a $5K budget. Anyone near SoCal know of a not-crappy car? We're getting tired of picking him up at the subway station for rehearsal...

Tell him to find an older (early 90's) Subie wagon, and put the remaining $3k in the bank.

He said he wanted one that's not crappy, I don't think the interior of that car would qaulify.

I've got a Mtn Bike for sale. The heat and AC don't work so well, but the mileage is great! I'll even cover shipping for the $5k.

Couple VWs that I know of....
Dasher diesel station wagon
Couple Vanagons
All sold by a local VW shop, they should be running well.

Buy a toyota SR5 pickup. You cant beat the dependability of a 22R engine.

I'd suggest an early Honda Passport - reliable, roomy, comfortable.
