my three week honeymoon in cali

im married. the honeymoon is over. the sex has already stopped. shes let herself go and were rowing. On a lighter note, cali was **** hot! sanfran was cool, them cable cars were well handy. the wharf/peir area was good for clam chowder, did the island (f--k being locked up there!) found a great diner and lived there for every breakfast! (opposite dollar car hire for the locals!) found the nanking place in china town, lovely. the castro district was cool too. went to muir woods and chose the longest trail (mistake, i was shagged at the end of it). drove down to monterey bay to visit the aqarium (the biggest fish tank ive ever seen!)visited hurst castle (small)stayed in a spot-on cabin somewhere in the big sur area, came out in the morning to be greeted by the biggest lump of sh-t ive ever seen! honestly, it was about two foot in length. ive got it on film (wierdo) bear crap? im gonna tell everyone it was even if it wasn't! drove down to santa cruz and stayed the night. ate at a lovely restaraunt at the end of the pier (boardwalk?) stayed in a great house. all the while we were driving down we were on the 1. i was just gagging for an early 911, caged out with a big carbed up engine out the back! and the views................Anyway, got to L.A. did the venice beach thing. pushed some weights at muscle, showed them meat heads how to do it properly. went to six flags magic mountain. actually, ill re-phrase that. i got dragged kicking and screaming to six flags magic mountain. i hate roller coasters (i can't control them!) so we went on all of them. Goliath. there is no need for roller coasters like Goliath. im sure i flatlined at the bottom of that drop. the getty centre was next. just the building alone was amazing enough, let alone all the art. i wasn't too bothered about fine / impressionist art before going, but seeing some of the paintings definately opened me up to how talented some of them artists were. the sunset was awesome too. A big thankyou to Mr Hugh Rose (Hugh R) who made it possible for us to come and visit the Disney Studios in Burbank. Hugh took us on a fantastic tour of the Studios and various different parts of the site, he even made it possible for us to see some of the ACTUAL sets! One of which was top secrect. i could tell you about it but id have to kill all of you so email me for the info if you dare............Thanks again for pulling the strings Hugh, we both really appreciated what you did for us and thoroughly enjoyed seeing everything. After L.A. we drove down to san diego and visited the zoo. we only had one day there so we thought the zoo would be the best choice. got nicked by the fuzz going over a bridge that someone plunged to their death from in a red pickup the day before. he wasn't impressed with my 72 in a 50. got it all on video though! Then it was onto the 15 and straight to Vegas. they certainly know how to show off in Vegas! we stayed in the Luxor, what a mad building. ive never been in lifts that go diagonally before. did the hoover dam and grand canyon heli tour (amazing) went up the stratosphere and watched my brand new wife dangle off the edge in the new death ride they've built on top of it. shot some guns too. the first was a .38 revolver. the guy slung me a handfull of magnum shells for free which made a big difference to the kick! next gun was a semi-automatic pistol (.38 i think, it took 8 shots) which was good fun. i didn't know what the hell i was doing, i just kept popping them off like a lunatic. then to finish up i got myself a nice little UZI 9milly and rattled off far too many shells in next to no time. All great fun though (the saddam hussien target was in bits by the time id finished)went to see 'O' at the bellagio. how the hell do they do that stuff? won a bit of cash on the roulette wheel too.
Then it was home. and work. and bills. oh well.........anyone got some free RSR bits?

Andy? I'd surmise you've seen more Southern California attractions than most of those who live there. Sounds like you had a great time.
