Here's one
Was there one for 2002? The one for 2001 was great, much better music than for the 2003 vid. |

Some excellent video there, but the music pretty much sucks!
There is a 2002 version with file name - rallywrc-2002 (12.1Mb). I've got it but not sure where you can download it. It is very good, nearly as good as the 2001 video. Awesome music by Stabbing Westward - "Save Yourself". |

Found it, thanks Curt. I love that song but I still like the 2001 vid best. It's a work of art as well as a great tribute to the WRC season. The integration between the video, the music and even the lyrics ("...I put my trust in you, pushed as far as I can go...") are almost perfect. It brings a tear to my eye everytime I watch it...the intesity in Delecour's face, Bugalski nodding his head urging his car on with gritted teeth, McRae kicking his car after it let him down on the Monte, the Subaru sailing through the air and speeding off down the trail in Finland (?)...I could watch it over and over (yeah, like I didn't just do that

I like the part where the steering wheel is coming loose and they tighten it up while driving.

Yeah, that's great isn't it? I also like the clip in the 2001 video where the guy (Delecour maybe?) snaps the shift lever off and graps the stub to make the next shift like nothing even happened. Those rally drivers are some of the best, bar none.

I'm usually quite glad I'm on this side of the TV picture (although tarmac rallies look like they're a blast. Targa Newfoundland anyone? ![]() |

Any Pelican ever been to O'Neil's Rally Driving School in New Hampshire? Roundel had a review of it a couple months back and raved about it.
It looks like it's a blast, but it's a bit pricey. JP
