Digi cam issues
Just got a sony DSC-V1. When I transfered the pics to the computer and tried to post them, the prompt tells me that pelican only accepts jpeg or gif images. But when I check the format, it clearly says it is jpeg. I don't have photoshop. Is there any other way to "convert" the images? I'm using XP.

Windows "Paint" can open JPG images. Try and open it with paint.
Perhaps the .jpeg extension is the problem. Try renaming to .jpg

My GOD, stay away from the GIMP for simple image manipulation. And Windows Paint...no comment.
Download irfanview. http://www.irfanview.com It's free.
