Wink Who's the man?

OK, so it's a little insulting to us he-men, but it's funny anyway.

Boy, isn't that the truth? Perhaps that's why more & more, people are ignoring the sitcoms...the "social engineering" themes are becoming all too obvious.

I don't mind man/woman/etc. bashing, but it has to be funny.

This was sort of, I don't know, witless to me.

Funny! Thanks.

A friend of mine does a version of that song, it's hilarious.
He's a macho guy, fireman, type A personality and it's very funny.

I passed that along to him.

It's not just every new sitcom -- it's 50% of the commercials. Think about the ads involving clueless/helpless men or men who are insecure and/or subservient to their women (the Expedia ads come to mind where the frumpy husband is worried about losing his wife's attentions to surfing instructors or being stripped on stage at "Magique"). How many ads end with this "Told you so" smirk or knowing eye-roll by the broads? It's pathetic, and it feeds the woman-must-emasculate-the-male paradigm. Once you tune into it in the ads, you'll see it all the time.

Can you imagine an ad with a frumpy wife worrying about her husband being distracted by hardbodied SCUBA instructors while on vacation?
