The chromosomes of an XY are still XY, no matter what parts you chop off.

This is simple. Does the IOC allow steroids? Males are the beneficiarys of natural androgens that govern musculoskeletal development after puberty starts. The changes are dramatic, and to a great degree, irreversible.

How long will the synchros last in a Transsexual? Also, and just as important, is Swepco the recommended lube for a Transsexual? And lastly, what tools are required to remove the shifter?

I dunno.

Xinhua is the 'official press agency' of "The People's Republic of Mainland China".

The only one.

No others are allowed.

Last year they declared their country free of the 'Capitalist' (Western) disease of AIDS.

Having spent a lot of time there, I believe very little of what comes from that source.

I remember an article in a UK classic car mag on a WWll English fighter pilot who was a motor racing champion, married had kids and then a sexchange. Then became a womens motor racing champ. I remember he was reported in the article to have been last seen in a specialist auto bookstore in London a few years before.
Anyone remember the name(s) or any thoughts on this one?
ie do men have a physical advantage in motorsport or is it an even playing field? If so are women's races redundant? The only woman who had even minimal success (1 point?) in F1 was Lella Lombardi, I'm sure she would have made more of an impact with a competitive car. She did lots better in other categories.

I can't imagine men having any physical advantage in motorsports, but certainly men have traditionally had more opportunity.

Most Olympic sports are a different matter. In terms of competetive sports, for a man to declare himself a women after an androgen filled adolescence is nothing short of fraud.

Anyone see Bruce Jenner lately? I'm not sure about those eyebrows.

Didn't Rene Richards - tennis player - break the barriers of sex changes and sports?

I've met some transexuals in my life, and it really ain't pretty. Cross-dressers can sometimes get away with it - you have to be pretty sober in their company, or you might find yourself in a...um...situation.

But the sex-change artists: well, have you seen an old woman who's had her face lifted - invariably, as they age, they begin to look like The Joker.

Magnify that with a full sex change. Nasty stuff - the Adam's apple is a dead giveaway with a guy-to-girl surgery. So are the hands. Man hands are man hands, especially with "big girls."

A girl-to-guy isn't as easy. The best guess I have for one of these is they look like a eunuch.

My opinion is one shouldn't mess with what our Mother has given us. Secondly, the medical field would be better off using its efforts to combat real ailments.

I read somewhere that women on average have faster reaction time than men. Plus less weight.

This was used to explain Shirley Muldowney's dominance in drag racing - which is all reaction.

Also, I've heard because of their reaction time, women make better fighter pilots than men, though there are obviously other physical constraints like g forces, strength, etc., to consider.

A hospital where I sometimes work was considering establishing a sex-change program. During discussions, an older surgeon offered this observation: "Any man who approaches a doctor requesting that his penis be removed is in greater need of a psychiatrist than a surgeon." After that comment, the discussion went downhill fast.

Why not? The olympics are taken way too seriously anyways: altering whole cities, priming athletes from elementary school, corporate ownership of the athlete etc.. and regardless of who wins the fans will still make the differentiation.
What about a hermephodite? Or a 3/4 hermephodite?
Are pregnant women going to start injecting testosterone after learning they have a girl fetus? It's not steroids technically.
People should relax and enjoy sports more.

I read a psyche article that said the "fear" factor is generally higher in men.. it's also distributed thru a wide range in men. If properly used for society these high risk takers may make a huge contribution. If improperly used they may become @#$^%&*(.
A byproduct to this heightned fear factor is that they need a higher rate of stimulus for excitment.

and FWIW some men never feel so Alive as when their death is in the balance.
