Trade this for a 2003 Cayenne Turbo?

The owner wants my CL55 badly, I'm thinking
about it "hard"!!
The Cayenne is Black.

I'd take the Cayenne in a heartbeat over the CL.

ZAMIRZ 03-23-2004 02:06 PM

trade it!

B D 03-23-2004 02:25 PM

The CL is much better looking.

But what car do you need, do you need the SUV to bring home diapers or not?;)

vash 03-23-2004 02:30 PM

trade it!

RANDY P 03-23-2004 02:38 PM

No way. No how. Keep the CL.

Adam 03-23-2004 02:57 PM

Is that the supercharged (500bhp) CL?

I'd go for it. Knowing your cars, it's not likely to stay stock for long... :)

ZAMIRZ 03-23-2004 02:58 PM

Adam, no it isn't. It's the previous model with the naturally aspirated 350bhp motor from the 1st generation E55.

cegerer 03-23-2004 03:04 PM

The Cayenne is an ugly POS undeserving of the Porsche name. Buy a VW Toureg - it's exactly the same thing for much less money and you can always duct tape on a couple of turbos if you need to go fast ...... or at least that's what I'm told by the Pelican cognoscenti ...... :D Porsche. There is no substitute.

Overpaid Slacker 03-23-2004 03:09 PM

Get the Cayenne. The CL is nice, but the Cayenne is cooler, and will complete the Porsche Turbo Trifecta.

That's IT!

I DEMAND TO KNOW WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING.

Please. :)

BlueSkyJaunte 03-23-2004 06:06 PM

Ask yourself why the Cayenne owner wants your CL instead.

And I second Leland's response: WHAT THE H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEYSTICKS DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?????

osidak 03-23-2004 07:10 PM

Curt glad to see you finally have seen the light ;)

As much as I have been down on MB as of late keep the CL

Porsche-O-Phile 03-23-2004 08:01 PM

Nah, keep the CL. I like the Cayenne as much as I could ever love any SUV (which isn't much), but the CL is just a BEAUTIFUL car - it'll be worth more in the long run.

serge944 03-23-2004 08:26 PM

Get the cayenne, its more useful than the CL. You have 2 other insanely fast cars in the driveway anyways.

RickM 03-24-2004 05:16 AM

Does the CL have as many problems as every other Mercedes out their now?

Ben at Pelican Parts 03-24-2004 07:48 AM

Go for the trade!!!

Then add some techart flavor to it!

=)

Schrup 03-24-2004 08:06 AM

I'd prefer the Cayenne, bet it's faster than the MB.

Surely there's some self-interest here. ;)

Gentlemen, thanks for you response.
In reply to your questions:
The CL is a 2002 with 430hp (Renntech).
I've never had any trouble, it only has
8k miles.
My wife has an SUV, so I really have no
need for another SUV.
Yes, I will start a 600hp project on it!!
(if a deal can be made)
As to what I do, I'm just a humble "Int'l
Finance Broker" with lots of friends.

I'm meeting this guy for lunch today, We're trading
cars for the afternoon.
