Wild car, but only for UK?

Here's a link to a two seater Formula One style car that is SVA approved. I'm guessing it's only legal in the UK?

http://www.freestreamcars.com/

The specs are insane!

0-100 mph <5 sec
0-60 mph <2.5
lateral accel 3g+
braking decel 3g+

Looks like a design team of McLaren F1 people.
Place your deposits you lucky Brits.

Has to be something wrong here... you can't possibly drive a car in Britain without a windshield wiper!

Testing for this packaging started as long ago as 1992.

sounds like a recipe for desaster in the wrong hands - sort of like a cross-breed between a Carrera GT and a Radical.
