Lean it and I get some ridiculously low number. Lower than my Carrera. But here is the kicker. Since I bought it in 92 and have been driving it solely ever since, my automobile consumption over ten years required the production of only one vehicle. Therefore I am only responsible for the pollution and raw material usage of one vehicle alone for over a decade. If I were to get a new car every few years, that would be a different story. People should start to look at the adverse effects of vehicle production in the environment as well. But then again, the lobby is huge enough to shove that one under the rug.

Singpilot, I don't have a boat right now because I don't have time to go to California a lot. It's either live on it or no boat. I have been eying this model boat for a long time. Nautor Swan 38. Produced in the seventies. Most numerous Swan ever produced. I love the lines of this thing. Classic sleek Swan look. Non of that masted kayak look crap you see today. Proven design too. Sparkman & Stephens. I don't think old man Olin ever designed a bad looking boat. Tough as nails too.

I find it ridiculous and irresponsible for a couple to have five or six children, particularly in today's climate where resources are low and costs are high.
Billy then posted that link with the "magic number" of 2.1 children per woman.

So I guess there has to be some flexibility for those desparate to spread their gene pool. My wife and I had to negotiate to get to a (future) number of children at only (her words ;)) four. I started at 2...

Yes, but doesn't that low figure include single females and female children?
