From my polishing the turd series.
I was getting complaints that the top stair was too high. I raised all of the lower ones by an inch and a half. Built new railings while I was at it.

I was the resident Squid Production Manager for the Z when I was a CDR. Got the thing into LRIP. Just one flight, sadly...it is a beast. The boys still buzz the farm, I can see them smiling. Quote:

Squid is a term of endearment Marines use to describe those of a Naval Officer persuasion. The boss when I worked the Z program, a Marine Colonel I am still very good friends with, called me Squidly. It is what passes for wit in the Corps.
