You are a good man Byron!
That’s your Mom I assume?

Transitioned to Molokai aboard a 9 passenger Cessna Caravan.
The pilot impressed me with her skills, trade winds just kicked in and landing here is a bit tricky- she gently touched the right wheel the brought the left and nose wheel down just as smoothly. She looked like she wasn’t more than maybe 25.
I’ve had way harder landings in bigarse Aircraft with much older dudes at the stick👍

Oh, and it’s always rough😆

Thanks, yes Sir, my Mother, as we make the rounds to see her doctors .

She keeps “apologizing” for me having to do everything, and that she hates being a burden. My response was simple, when I was little, and when McDonalds was still a “treat “, she would go to Burger King to get me a burger, then go next door to MacDonalds to get me the fries.
Full circle my Friend, and we
Try to do the “Right” thing, most of us here have or will.
As I have said in other threads, it appears that I’m closing in on the full circle.

As the 1st Female Mortgage Broker in the state of Florida, here she proudly displays a million dollar check , when it was a lot of money .
She was the VP there, back then “VP” was more than just a title and most companies only had one VP. The man who started this company, also started the bank that financed some little car track in Daytona.
My Mother in her youth, with their race car.

She has always stood out

My heart goes out to you Byron, my mom passed almost a decade ago. She left me with the best memories of her humor, willingness to stand up to authority when it was clear they were out of whack and an example of what the deepest love really is.
She was a Missouri farm girl than never lost the Midwest sensibilities and was confident in herself and cared for everyone, always❤️

More Molokai meandering

My wife is quite a trooper, we went on a 3 mile RT walk in the wilds of Molokai, had to stop once because of a thorn getting all the way through her shoes, she had a near miss too- the pile of them all came from my size 12’s
Took me almost 10 minutes and a pair of pliers to get em out😳

Well, not hate, but with your talent and eye, we can never be friends

Farm from the water earlier this winter:

Seahawk,
How far are you from the Calvert Cliffs State Park? never did find any Sharks teeth.
We would stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Solomons, while supporting Global Hawk and Fire Scout flight tests at Pax. and Webster so I got to the know the area quite well during the off hours.

It was...my neighbor and I share about 6 kayaks of various designs. I was in swaddling cloth and a dry suit and the Potomac was flat!

I really enjoy your photography skills since Kodachrome asked me to stop...

When was this? I had the GH Maritime Demonstration program and Fire Scout when I was PM at PMA-263.

I was on the Potomac when I took the pic, just south of Breton Bay.

Small world. I am in this photo:
