Nice shot. I went out to check Fri and Sat, but both nights were overcast.

Thank you, she keeps holding on. They are transitioning her to hospice, and didn't think that she was strong enough to survive, but I didn't wake up to bad news this morning.
It is only a matter of time, but Wednesday the doctors were saying that she might last a day or two. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'll second Baz's condolences, also reminds me I need to get out with my Sisters more often...
It's been 3 years since my big Brother passed, just getting to a point where I remember more of the good times together and not the difficult several months just prior. Truly sorry for your loss Byron, hope you can get to a more peaceful point soon. Back from Tofino out on Vancouver Island. One of the most challenging trips we've ever done- between road closures to stabilize the mountain side and a broken ferry boat we sat in "queue" for hours and hours. What is a 3 hour journey if the road is clear took about 12. Thankfully they had portapotties and it was next to Lake Cameron so the views were good. Tofino beaches are unbelievable, we visited 10 in 4 days, walked 35 miles total and although taken aback by the crowds of people we found that 1/4 mile away from access points gave us vast areas where there were very few others. Just the way we like it. ![]() Mountain Lions, Wolves and Black bears are thriving up there. None spotted during our time, a park Ranger said there had been two Bear sightings the same day we were on Wickaninnish beach.. Years past I've seen crazy amounts of bear scat at the southernmost part.
