Just passed a Carrera GT in Malibu

Looked like a father & son out for a little drive. Silver with 'Boxster Red' interior. I think it was the one from Auto Gallery -- where they had turned down an offer for $100K over sticker. Wonder what it finally sold for?

The sound of the car is pure audio heroin.

Indeed, I heard McKenna take his through the paddock and around the track at Fontana. It had a very distinctive sound, like nothing I've heard before.

I'm glad you got to hear it for yourself.

A capitalist pig out wasting precious fossil fuel .... no doubt.

A CGT was running against some 962's, 917's, etc. at Rennsport II. It was doing a fair amount of passing!

Yep I think it is still an Auto Gallery dealer car; I have seen it around the Mullholland & Las Virgenes area myself. Sweeeeet sounding car.

I think I saw the same car pass a bunch of friends and I on the 405 going north. It was about 30 car lengths ahead at one point and I could still hear it when he was gassing it. Father and son, I want to say European descent based on the darker skin tone...sound like the same couple of people?

Mckenna is a pretty tan guy...his CGT is black.

I remember when I saw the car at Fontana, McKenna's little boy was standing on the front passenger seat eating a hot dog...

You may want to consider parts other than Europe as well.

You're right! I saw that the day it came in, and I would have noticed the red interior. This was brighter than Boxster Red and it looked like there was some suede/alcantera in it.

However, it did have an Auto Gallery (chromed logo) plate on it.
