A famous person once said:

"What good fortune for those in power that people do not think." (Adolph Hitler)

Finstone: "We share a great deal of intelligence with Canada...The PM just met with GW"

ROTFLMAO!

Now you're claiming GW has *intelligence*? He's clearly the least intelligent president in history... Oh, you mean the canadians gave him info? Well, why didn't he have his fine Sec Def act on it and uncover the WMDs with this fine new information?

You are holding on to the WMD myth with only about a handful of other people.

And you keep yammering on about the Ritter documentary being a 'payoff'. You have zero credibility on this. The guy co-produced a 90 minute documentary in a distant country that you claim he could have made for less because of... your own personal experience?!!??

Intelligence, of course, refers to miliatry intelligence ( information concerning an enemy or possible enemy or an area).

There are more than a few folks that still think that Iraq had WMDs. particularly since almost the entire world agreed he did before the war. It is just difficult to make the case now that we have not found them.

Face it, you cannot compare the cost of a real documentary made by professionals that have to sell it with the cost of the home video that an inexperienced ex-marine made. You would have to insane to think that people who make documentaries...even for the average amount don't pay themselves out of the "costs." Or do you think they donate their time? It was clearly just a vehicle to get money to him and shut him up. His opinion seemingly changed the day the check arrived. With all the out-of-work film folks in the world, they would have hired an experienced professional and just interviewed Ritter otherwise. It is possible that he did not realize he was being used...but that would imply he is stupid or just very vain.

Its election time and Mr. Martin, who is only sitting as Prime Minister because Jean Chretien retired mid-term, is 'a pandering to the people' ... and GWB.

Finststone: "There are more than a few folks that still think that Iraq had WMDs. particularly since almost the entire world agreed he did before the war."

There are approximately 130 countries. Approximately 40 were in agreement with our attack on Iraq, and that excluded the majority of the world's population. Maybe you missed it, but the populations of both the U.S. and Britain were divided on the appropriateness of the attack 14 months ago

Finststone: "Face it, you cannot compare the cost of a real documentary made by professionals that have to sell it with the cost of the home video that an inexperienced ex-marine made."

Again, you asre flying by the seat of your pants without a single fact to support you -- just prejudice.

If you had read anything about it, you'd know Ritter hired an experienced producer and three cinematographers. This wasn't a betacam burned-to-CD home movie. It was a 90-minute film that premiered at the UN.
