I'm very interested in the source or basis for putting oil coolers hanging off the front bumper like that.

So many riceboy mods are bastardized interpretations of real performance parts on race or rally cars. Wings, big intercoolers, ground effects, even the "sponsor" stickers. But those oil coolers--where the heck did that come from!?

well, oil coolers up front makes sense, but external with the hoses hanging out? Seems like they are *trying* to run them out in the breeze...

Steve, I think that yellow star exhaust would look great on your Miata...just paint it pink.

there...that better?

Why? And I thought the ricers around here are crazy. What a waste of time and money, why mod an 80's toyota sedan?

Uncle Ben should be turning over in his grave about now.

Rick,,,why would you insult one of the sexiest American cars ever built? AMC is waiting for an apology.

Steve,
I am in shock. Do those guys honestly think their cars look cool? Or that there's some performance benefit from those tiny tires and radical camber? Jeeeezzzz.

The star exhaust caught my eye too (nearly put the thing out actually).

Those exhausts and the wings on the minivans really did it for me. I can't wait until this stuff filters over here. I could use the laugh.

That was great! I called my 4 yr old son in to see the "Ultra Man"/'Power Ranger"/"Godzirra" show.

Actually, that's some serious body work/modification. The exhaust pipes were silly, but a few (very few) cars had some decent lines. Plus, I have always kind of liked the early Celicas and 510s. Not modded that way, but more stock with some subtle tweaks.

Nothing about that event was subtle. Even the scooters had were jacked up.

I noticed a number of the cars had the rear license plate bent upwards, wonder if they do that so the cops can't read the plate number, like any cop would ever forget what one of those cars looks like!
