We must be in the same dream.

Can't wait to see how he does at McLaren. :D

I mean really, is there anything better than F1 chicks? That was a great race...that tunnel is ugly along with the light changes during the race.

JPM is a whining DIVA. The majority of the blame for the tunnel incident lies with JPM, IMO (and I'm not even a MS fan). Yes, MS had a "moment" there, but regardless, you don't pass while the safety car is out. It's that simple. He wasn't trying to avoid MS, he was trying to squeeze by on the inside. The leader under caution sets the pace, so you need to be on your toes.

JT deserved and earned that win, and Button is the next contender for the crown IMO.

If you watch, Trulli is backed way off on JPM...he figured something was going to happen. What is total BS is that JPM was a frickin' lap down.

lmao. some of the best comedy I've seen in months! the irony is that from now on, every time I see Montoya's face I'm going to forever associate it with the phrase "you fukcing idiot!! you broke my fukcing head!!"

what eloquent oratory! :D

I think the blame is Montoya's. They were behind the safety car, so they weren't racing. The safety car wasn't near the pull-off point, so they weren't about to be racing. So if those two drivers were not racing and not about to race, what justification does does Montoya have trying to pass Schumacher (one possibility) or following him so closely that he couldn't avoid (the other possibility).

Montoya is blaming Schumacher, saying he "brakes so hard" on warm-up laps and that he shouldn't have braked "after a zone of massive acceleration" (I'm getting this from www.f1live.com). Well, since he knows Schumacher brakes so hard on warm-up laps, he should anticipate it. And how can you have "massive acceleration" behind the pace car that can't even go fast enough to keep the F1 tires up to temperature?

I've also heard arguments that the tunnel was dimly lit and the curve is blind. Well, given that you could see what was going on via the TV cameras, I guess it wasn't that dim or that blind.

So, bummer for Schumacher and another woe to add to McLaren's list. As they fix the wonky motors, they'll get the wonky driver.

That said, I was hoping for Schumacher to lose soon - I'm a Ferrari supporter but, face it, the season was getting to be a snoozer. I'm delighted for Renault and BAR. I do still admire Montoya for his aggressiveness - he actually passed someone at Monaco. And I'm looking forward to the Nuburgring and praying for rain . . . now if Mark Webber can finally catch a break (like a Williams ride), I'd be really happy.

Speaking of the tunnel, what about Alonso? What was he thinking?

I'd really like to see Button win one this season, and Sato get a podium. It was also nice to see Jordan in the points. I feel bad for Minardi, Jordan, etc (I still have a soft spot for Orange/Arrows). Then again, the Mindardis are sooooo slooooow.

And what the hell happened to Jaguar? Seems that people thought McLaren and Jaguar would be near the top instead of in the toilet. Jordan has more constructor points than Jaguar! And Toyota is only one behind McLaren!

That video is superb! I wonder if we could get the footage from the camera doin' the head bashing? :D

My favorite part....hand over his mouth...then he says..."Noo, JAH"...

what a treat.

WTF is right....

WTF was MS thinking, he lets the Safety car get nicely in front of him...because he knows its coming in at the end of that lap.....backing up the cars to give himself the freedom to chose is location and position on the track to do the restart, rember its when the safety car pulss into the pits regardless of where the Leader is....ideally he would be a the exit of the swimming pool complex right a the start of the short straight to Rascase at the time...allowing him the full length of the straight befroe other reacted.

He then floors it on the entry to the tunnel and then applies the brakes hard enough to get the offside wheel locked up, yes the one doing all the work.

Its damn dark in that tunnel, believe me, I have driven thro it often enough and quickly enough to know that its damn difficult to see, the cars I have taken thro are all road car based and so have brake lights...

JP didn't fully engage his brain at that time, but thought, hummm maybe if I get jump on MS I can unlap myself.....

Both should have know better, but ego in both cockpits over rode common sense.

As for Alsono, well RS was too busy getting his act togther to pay attention to the fact he was being overtaken. Another fine Rs moment.

Its time for both Schumachers to take stock of what they are actually doing in F1. RS should perhaps go elsewhere and MS should appreciate that the better his rivals are the more impressive his success becomes.

As Fangio once remarked to Senna, being a great racing driver is nowhere near as diffcult as being a great Champion. Senna spent the rest of his short life trying to become more than a great racing driver.

MS has not yet started on that path.
