That movie was filmed in Montreal last summer.

I saw the Porsche on a Channel 7 (ABC) movie review - before the "crushing." '73 S it looked like. Garage queen at that. Eh, it deserved it.

Seriously, there's a good business in L.A. for people with classic cars. Even my old '74 has been hit up a couple times to be in a flick - it's another Hollywood instance of being in the right place at the right time. In one case, I was approached by a guy towing a replica James Dean car. He even had release forms with him. Would I do it? Hell no! You ever see a car after a stuntman's finished with it? Talk about ragged-out.

I watched the movie last night...not bad....the 911 was smooshed in Los Angeles, not New York, by a bus.

Oh, and the actor started the car by turning a switch on the RIGHT side of the steering column. doh!

Great movie, totally gripping. Apparently made more money than Jurassic Park the first weekend. The Porsche scene was gratuitously brutal, though.
