and Opera... IMO it's better than Mozilla except it didn't integrate w/ the "nipple scroll" feature on a laptop which won't affect a desktop. I just checked the site, 7.5 is a newer version (guess I have some updating to do.) http://www.opera.com/

I used the Mozilla Firefox browser yesterday for a little while, but came away with a liking for the Avant Browser. I think Avant has more features and is a little stronger. Plus it'll save the web page that you exit out of so that when you click back on, you're right where you left off. My vote is Avant.

As for Email, I'm trying out Mozilla Thunderbird. Outlook Express hasn't really given me trouble, but I think Thunderbird takes up less hard drive space.

Opera has that feature too, except that it will go back to the EXACT settings you had, so if you had tabs that were open to other websites, it will have them open/ready for you too.

Argh! I can tell already this thread will degenerate into a browser war.

I ditched IE for Mozilla Firefox last month and I'm not going back! The Mozilla browser is much more user friendly and less prone to "hijackings".
