I agree that campaigns should be budget-less. A few donated ads/debates on TV (equal for the two), and all the shoe leather they can wear out. I am going to thoroughly enjoy the debates. If I were John Kerry, I'd challenge Dubya to as many debates as he'd agree to. And I think the candidates should ask each other questions in those debates. I won't get my wish, but Dubya cannot deny ALL debating requests, so this should be pretty funny.

There was one surprize for me in the most recent Franken book. When Al met Dubya, he reports being very charmed by the little guy. Hard to believe.
