Screw that - Boston Marathon - much more prestige (and yes, I've run both Chicago and Boston, I do love the Chicago course though - very flat and fast). Either that or the Comrades Marathon in South Africa or the Tour De France.

Folks from California have been telling me for years that the PNW wins, hands down, the D and E cups. They say California wins the A and B cup races. Of course, that was before aftermarket bumpers became so popular.

I'm assuming 24 hours means LeMans. That's what I voted for. Something about pushing yourself and your car to the limits for 24 hours intrigues me.

More people in more countries know Beckham and Pele than Shumi and Senna. As chick magnet potential you can't beat the World Cup.

As for the stress, danger and accomplishment factor, I think I'd go with the F1/LeMans combo.

Key West Race Week in the Farr 40 class.

A week in Key West racing in a very competitive one-design sailboat fleet against some of the best rock star sailors in the world. And you get to have a party each night on the beach after the racing. Sounds sublime.

And sailor-girls rock.

But the Masters...Tradition, Exemption, "Green Jacket", Augusta (only one Augusta, "Amen Corner" etc.,), Club House privilege, etc.,
