When I kick his ass for him posting that I had betrayed the US Flag, then you'll know Tabs ain't in the picture.

Hmmm, the three of them (tabs, Mulholland & Yankee911) never seem to be online at the same time?

As opposed to Mul, who spews the same stuff in every thread, no matter what the original topic.

Thanks for asking. 1973 911 E in the middle of a conversion to an RS looklike. It's at the paint shop with a color change to white. RS front bumper, rear flares, ducktail. Engine's at the builder. 2.7

Getting sports seats recovered, RS door panels, no roll bar. Looking now for nice looking accessories like front hood mounted lights.

If the R Gruppe guys are nice as you guys here, I will probably see about signing up since I'm going the hot-rod route.

Mul, what color is your 911?

That's interesting. In your only posting in any tech thread you claimed your car was a 72 T. So which is it a T or an E? And where did the 2.7 engine come from?

My supervisor said he thought I had the record for the most formal reprimands in the Bureau's history but I never gave a **** about any of that. They never complained about being a hard-charging mother-****er who seemed to get the job done.

I have to laugh whenever anybody mentions anger managment classes--they finally said what the ****--I guess they thought it was hopeless.

I did tell one little lie. I'm not yet 60. I've got a real pretty 1" vertical scar that has finally healed to look like something on my right temple. Can't tell much detail, but I was looking up and open stairwell of a motel and didn't get out of the way of a 9 mm slug. Of all the times I've been shot, that one was the worse--hurt like hell and it was only a grazing wound. They retired me a little earlier than I wanted or planned, but the money is still good and so are the friends.

You kids don't have a clue. Who the **** do you think keeps it safe for you k911sc to sleep safe in your bed? You can make fun of me all you want--I'm a big boy--but I've been to too many police funerals to thank that's funny. Somewhere in your home town there's some poor stupid smuck that's willing to stop that car and open the door and take a bullet in the head so he doesn't go out and rape your wife or sell crack to your kids.

I know you were just trying to be clever but ****!

Sorry Kurt, too many posts--too much anger--too much pain meds.

72 E with no sunroof. It's been at the ****ing paint shop so long I'm beginning to forget what it looks like. I don't know what the **** I posted on the tech page. I probably need to be over there trying to learn something about my car. It's just more fun over here. Got a mechanic building a hot-rod engine on an R case (he said that was good) to 2.7 specs to try to replicate what would have been in an RS.

I'm keeping the tired original engine in case I want to go back to stock, not ****ing likely. I don't really know what the T and E means exactly, although I think it is engine related.

You have to overlook us old retired farts sometimes. Better to just post funny pictures and cast idle dispersions about our truthfulness, right?

Until I saw Tab's photo with Slacker, I assumed he was a pimply-faced, greasy-haired, braces-wearing fourteen year old. That's the same impression I have of Yanking911, some kid that watches too many war movies . . .

Old enough to forget what ****ing year my 911 is. Only had it since January. I just hope I don't forget which paint shop has it kidnapped.

I'm so old, I can remember buying a coke in a coke machine for a nickel!

My scout troop met at a church and they had the square flat open coke machine with a lid like a deep freeze. You opened the lid and the cokes were horizontal on a rail and you pulled the coke flavor of choice around to the dispensing slot and pulled it straight up. An interprising scout or two ( I swear not me--I wasn't that bright at 15) brought in a bottle opener and two straws and had a coke-drinking orgy. True story!
