Here is the link to a good site that provides some of the details of this crash. Excellent read.
http://www.tighar.org/Projects/Histpres/courses/ID2000/loonlake.html We road our dirt bikes in to within a 1/2 mile of this debris, and hiked the rest of the way around the lake. It is at least five miles to the lake. We "opted" for the scenic alternate 10 mile ride on the cycles. Excellent riding in that area.
