No Alki Bakery ?

Okay. . .a bit further east; that place where scooter had us meet for breakfast the other day? . . .Roanoke Inn, on Mercer Island.

Roanoke? Ya, there is a place I won't be parking my p-car.

Good food though.

What, you can't make a 20 minute drive to Duvall, Glenn? You could walk to the Roanoke

Minor detail Ronin

Duvall Cafe...in the middle of beautiful down town, Duvall, WA, on the only street through town, Highway 203. I think Stephens is the east/west cross street. If not it is close. The Cafe's is on the west side of the street. Their parking lot is on the south corner of 203. Lots of safe parking right on 203, both sides of the street. Very easy to see and find the cafe as you drive through the older section of Duvall on 203 heading north.

If you park across the street, then there is plenty of room. I have never heard a complaint about Roanoke before, so congratulations rdane, you are the first.

On our last trip to the Roanoke, which you were at Scooter, the VFW parking lot and resturant were both totally full. Parking sucked even for my 4x4. Steep side hill parking guaranteed to get you a door ding.

Not *****ing just not parking my 911 there on a Sunday morning

Fin's in Issaquah (where we had lunch last time) is good for breakfast.

Duvall, on a Sunday, at 10am?

Looking to start a parking fight with the antiquers?

If so, you'll probably need a little muscle...so I'm in...I think.

Mercer is kind of a scary neighborhood . . ..being populated, and so close to them'ums in the big city.

Okay, Duvall, then. . ..but only if Dane brings his banjo, to help us fit in.

Better wear your suspenders with Drago and I around

Mark, High Bridge, Kelly, Ben Howard Rd and the back way off 203 into Sultan on the river were my first thoughts. I bet you know the area even better. Where are you thinking?

I'm going to take Iss/Fall City out to Tolt Hill and Carnation. Then Kelly/Cherry into Duvall from breakfast.

I was thinking High Bridge to 522 and Monroe and back to Ben Howard and Sultan. Love to see some new roads.

I figured you were shooting for doing the Cherry Valley loop (lots of driveways).

Ben Howard is a good road, albeit a little rough these days...not much traffic but it is a decent "out and back" type of drive.

High Bridge is good too (that's the route I'll be taking into Duvall) but ya gotta watch for police presents. Sundays are typically heavily patrolled as the road is a favorite of the monkey-humpin-a-football sportbike crowd (which can be a good thing if you let them block for you). Unfortunately, the Harley guys like the road too and they're just plain slow.

There is a road that cuts from High Bridge over to Ben Howard(name escapes me at the moment), takes you right by the old prison farm out in the valley. Might be a nice place to stop and take some pic's (the farm is no longer operational).

So, what's the weather forcast for Sunday???

There are also some good back roads between Monroe and Granite Falls. Very little traffic and lots of twisties. MarkP planned a route out that way last year...we touched on a couple of the roads (which were just OK) but I have since gone back and explored further north.

Ben Howard is evil.
We totaled a showcar and damaged my Pcar on that road.

I cannot go if I don't find a power steering belt tensioner.
But I would like to go.

Okay, so the meeting place is Duvall, I take it. Those who want to go for a drive can discuss the logistics at breakfast. I will be there with my lovely bride at 10:00 am, or shortly before. Who else is in?
