One advantage of sail. A properly designed monohull sail boat will right itself if knocked down, or over.

Bill, nice boat. Is that the one you were working on?
My Hunter 43 has 9700lbs of a formed keel. Wings, even. P.O. left a couple of nasty nicks in the leading edge of the bulb. Those keel bolts look about the same size as mine.

Funny thing, I just got back to the boat. Pulled the floorboard, measured.
2" stainless. Hey, where is Loudonville? We are stuck in eastern Long Island most of August. Am renting a nice car and driving anywhere but L.I. Would love to come see your project!
