Wonder if we will see a ban on detectors in CA at some point. The CHP has sure been gunning the highways lately. Ka band. |

DC and VA are the only states that still grasp on to that law... Like it makes a difference. They take them from you if you have MD plates ( or any state where there legal ) and they are required to send them to you in the mail ( their knickel for postage ) and you can fight the ticket in court, as you can just say it wasn't on and they are legal everywhere else.. They like laser more - no detection risk.
Also, there have been "detector detectors" around for a long time. Most radar detector units newer than 4-5 years old (the better ones anyway) incorporate what's called "VG2" blocking, in other words, they block "detector detectors". |
