With the way appropriation bills are created today, I'd like to know what else was in the bill that made him vote against it. There is no black and white with those bills as people put all kinds of unrelated crap into them. For example, in the last appropriations bill, Senator Brownback added a clause that would increase FCC fines. Please tell me how that relates to defense spending?

Do you know how long the report would have been to refute all those simplistic statements? Probably 40-50 pages.

If you do any research on Snopes, you'll find they are non-partisan. Truth is, if you can't trust Snopes, you can't trust anyone.

But if you prefer to believe a totally undocumented chain letter over an independent research entity, I guess that's your right.
