Kerry's greatest achievement

OK all you lefties, here's your chance to pursuade the undecided.

In his 20 years as a senator, what was JFsKerry's greatest acheivement. Aw hell, don't just limit it to his time in the senate, go all the way back to when he was wearing one piece pajamas.
What was his greatest acheivement

Mule, you must prepare yourself here. You will not get answers here my friend, you will only get "What was W's biggest accomplishment". Then you will make the mistake of giving a few, at which point they will have successfully changed the subject. Just a warning

Great advice Len. I think that comes from James Carville's Big Book of Bull*****.

He's not GWB - that's good enough for me.

Thom, though that may be good enough for you, I doubt it will be good enough for the majority of voters.

I think you misunderestimate the dissatisfaction with GWB, but then again, fear is an easy sell. It's worked for him this far, can he cash OBL in for another 4 year stay in the white house?

Tune in this November!

Same here. After November, his biggest accomplishment will be "kicking GWB's ass into next week".

Still later it will be "undoing all the damage done by the most misguided administration in American history".

Later still, it will be "actually helping America to go forwards, rather than backwards".

See, Lendaddy was right. Libs cant answer without bringing up Bush.
They have no answer plain and simple.

I'm surprised you didn't blame Clinton.

But seriously, I'm not that thrilled about Kerry, but at this point I'd vote for Pee Wee Herman before I voted for Bush.

This really is why I said way back that picking him was a big mistake. They had a couple of unknowns (Edwards/Dean) that could have made it. When asked what they have done the dems could have said "He hasn't been in the loop very long so what he's done doesn't matter, it's what I know he will do when given the chance. I believe in the man"

You can't do that with Kerry, he has had the chance, for 20 years he's had the chance. What has he done? Close to nothing, less than many 1-2 term Senators. That is pathetic, good luck. They kinda have to run the "not Bush" campaign, it's all they got. Just a bad choice.

A couple of impressive things he did - he out-leftied Ted Kennedy! are you kidding me! I didn't think that was possible. He's also simultaneously America's greatest war hero and America's greatest war protester.

Also, his second wife has more money than his first! And his first wife was loaded.

He has one billion (that's with a B) dollars of Republican money at his disposal. Even if he doesn't win how good would that be?

All joking aside, I think he's a decent man who genuinely believes in America. But I like W's vision more.

I'm glad it is Thom because NOBODY seems to be able to come up with a better reason.

But if you are going to vote based on the fact that someone IS NOT Bush. Please help me organize the write in campaign for Carmen Electra. She's not Bush either(doesn't even have one) & if I'm going to have to look at someone for the next 4 years solely because they are not Bush, I sure would rather look at Carmen's hot little a$$ than Lurch's big ugly a$$.

Kerry's greatest achievement: Didn't he invent the internet? (Oh, wait, wrong democrat... )

Sorry Widebody911, but that has got to be the most uneducated, uninformed reason for voting for anyone. I cringe everytime I hear the 'Anyone but Bush' slogans. What ever happened to voting for someone who's beliefs YOU side with? What ever happened to understanding what the candidates stand for, and voting for someone who most matches your own beliefs.

Then again, the 'anyone but Bush' is about the only reason for voting for Kerry, since his political platform is so obscure, and his past history shows a flip-flop tendency. (Two examples: He's a 'professing' Roman Catholic, yet supports abortion. He's a decorated war veteran that threw away his medals when he came home, yet now embraces his wartime past)

As is obvious by this post, I back Bush. While I don't agree with his views 100%, I agree with most of his views, especially those that effect MY bottom line.

I've got no problem with people voting for Kerry - but if you are going to vote for the man, don't vote for him because you want Bush out - vote for him because you believe his platform is aligned with your own beliefs!

Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now, (Rant mode off)
-Z-man.

In this race I'm afraid I'll have to throw in my support for Carmen Electra's bottom line.
