The name is in the nose art and I still got it wrong!
LOCKHEED R5O LODESTAR  I think a Beech (C45) plays some good parts in the movie "1941".

So, where did you take these pics?
The B17 ride sounds well worth the price. None of that pesky flak, 109's, or 190's. I wonder if they could attach more doo-dads to the front of that C47? Maybe a DirectTV satellite dish?

The Willow Run/Yankee air show, held every year in Michigan.
$15 to enter (per adult), includes parking. I rode in a Tin Goose for $40 last month, maybe the B-17 is worth the 10x difference.
