That dude on the 'blade would be road-pizza if he came off dressed like he is.

I always love that type of cycling attire. it speaks volumes of its owner. my favorite being "ah yes, although I'm not wearing much, I'm wearing a helmet so in the event of a crash, I can still have the pleasure of watching the rest of my body disintegrate out from underneath me." rock solid logic in my book

That's cool, i've never seen a Shelby Series 1 on the road, just in glamour pictures. What was it like? Doesn't compare to the original cobra, i'm sure!

That guy's overdressed compared to the losers out here.

Flip-flops, shorts, tank top, and sunglasses is the typical wardrobe.

I have often thought that way of those characters also. But since there is a helmet law, that maybe why some have one on at all.

You see some of the nicest cars in California on Mulholland drive! I was driving by it when I was looking to buy my car back in February and I saw 4 Ferrari 355s just cruising it and 2 360s trailing. Also a Lamborghini Diablo and Murcielago were parked on the side. This may have been some massive Italian car club meet up in LA.

That Shelby Series 1 is freaking awesome dude! Not to many of us in our lifetime see one! Glad you had fun!

I've seen the Shelby Series 1 on the road and in a dealership. I think it's just a glorified Vette, and that would probably be insulting to the ZO6s out there. Other than "look at me" looks (not even sure if they are functional) it's got nothing of substance. Maybe the Getrag (I think it's a Getrag) tranny is cool, but the thing doesn't even have good brakes! And the price?!! It's somewhere north of $100K... think of how many BB2s you could have for that... or 993s, even an F355....

A *whopping* 320hp that a $35K Cobra could laugh at.... the list goes on and on. If there was ever an automotive flop, I think this one ranks right up there w/ the Vector, Cizetta, and DeLorean.

Hopefully the new Cobra will address these issues...

It might not protect him, but it will blend in nice with the road rash scabs.

Max,

How did you take those pictures? What kind of camera? Some of those are incredible shots. Thanks for the cool shots.
