Kerry wants to be "more sensitive" with the war on terror?

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/12/cheney.kerry/index.html

Again, you can't rationalize with ideologies...

But I digress...

Kerry: "I believe I can fight a more effective, more thoughtful, more strategic, more proactive, more sensitive war on terror that reaches out to other nations and brings them to our side."

We do need more thoughtful, more sensitive, war.

This was one of those sound-bites I heard go flying by, the other day.

Of course it gets buried until the headline can read: "Cheney blasts Kerry" (insert mean looking Cheney pic here)

"Sensitive" does not mean "weak". "Sensitive" may, just may, mind you, actually include listening to other points of view.

Right, however I'm afraid it's too late for a nice sit-down or some sort of group therapy between us and the rest of the world...

I understand the Senator has hatched a secret plan to have our soldiers play with the enemy's nipples to distract them before we shoot them. Maybe that's where the "sensitive" comes in.

"Thoughtful"? My God! Who needs thought when fighting an opponent that is resourceful enough to kill 3,000 americans with a $1.50 knife? What a weirdo.

You can blame left-wing politicians and the willingly complicit Democrat media for painting GW in a negative light to the World.

I love how the media operates...They shove what to believe down the world's throat and then the world reaches a conclusion based on this media coverage. From "Bush lied" to abu grabbag, to "Bush is stupid" to "No WMDs", etc...The media TELLS the world what to think, when the programming is successful (not until then) the media polls on it and then acts like the world objectively looked at all facts to come to their conclusions.

Two things stand out in my mind starkly...The media cites Al Jazeera like they are credible...The American media played Saddam's election results like they were not coerced and he was "democratically elected."

To give Kerry due credit, he has shown how sympathetic he can be . . .the North Vietnamise looove him, for example.

If Kerry were Pres, I imagine the N. Koreans might be better off than w/ GW. Of course they would be getting the some more of the rocket technology that the Clinton admin was giving out. . . That ought to keep them happy . .. for a few years, anyway.

I'm all for sensetivity. A good example would be the performance of the Marines at Najaf over the last week. Due to their caring sensetive work, over 400 jihad warriors are today chilling with allah & banging the 72 virgins instead of sweating in some sandy hole. How can you be more sensetive than that?

Ya know, trotting out the same old pix of 9/11 over and over again does not constitute a defense of IraqNam.

No, seriously, it doesn't.

Yeah, I suppose that a decade+ of sensitive . .listening to other sides was just too damn reactionary of us.

Strange how the deaths of 30,000 Afhganis/Iraqis is an appropriate response to an attack by a bunch of Saudis..

Don't confuse the issue. The saudi's arent at war with us, it's the muslims. They are coming to iraq from all over to sign up for the 72 virgins dating service. Location is not relative as long as it's not here!
