Thumbs up AVP - whose stoked?

Alien vs Predator the movie opens next week - should be very effects cool. I'm sure the story/acting won't be there, but it's all about the slugfest IMO.

Gotta be better than Freddy vs Jason ...

Two out of four Alien movies were good, and one out of two Predator movies was good... so this one has a fifty percent chance of not sucking.

When the alien gets wounded and starts bleeding, watch out! That's some toxic stuff.

LOL Wayne. When I first did the search on AVP I found the volleyball site ... some nice scenery on that site.

Too often lately, I've had high hopes for H'w'd productions and have been let down.

I'll keep my eye on AICN to decide if this one is gonna be worth 20 bucks (ticket plus popcorn & drink). The first whispers are that this is a stinker.

:-(

My 13 y/o son and I are going to see it anyway. Nothing like bonding with your boy over a large bucket of popcorn, a couple of Slurpees and a sci-fi flick. Matinee, of course. The food'll cost more than the tix.

I saw the commercial last night & assumed it was video game, but was pleasantly suprised to see it was a movie. I'll go see it.

Damn. That's what I'd heard and was hoping it wasn't true.

Talk about taking a great opportunity and blowing it...

If anyone remembers "Predator 2", there was an "Alien" skull on the Predator's trophy wall. I thought that said it all....

Saw it. Enjoyed it. Just wasn't blown away by it.

the premise is pretty good, but I won't go into it at all out of fear that I may ruin it for someone else. All in all, it's a pretty good movie.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I was lead to believe. I wouldn't go as far as saying it was great, but better than I expected. I liked the end.

I liked it much more than I thought I would. I was prepared to jump to another theater if it blew. Worth the cost of the Twilight admission.

saw it opening night. i liked it. the premise is a bit far fetched but i did not walk into the theatre anticipating strong character developement or a shamalan plot twist. the movie has "vs" in the title folks. worth seeing in the theatre.
