Ralph Nader is the only faithful lib out there. Kerry is a political pro doing the best he can to maintain the Bush challenge to the Dems inner beliefs. So Dems really don't support or respect him. Dems are voting against Bush.

man, that site just hit me with a lot of "tracking cookies".

as for your "One HUGE reason"... granted the loss of liberties suck. If your interested what happens during war time investigate what happened to liberties during WW2. After the war it took a while to straighten things back up. It's an interesting study with much available info. Ascroft is trying to do his thing and still stay within the Constitution. He'll probably always be doing battle in the courts till this bs is over.
.

Let Aschcroft do his own "thing" in his own fantasy world. He lost an election to a dead guy and has no business being Attorney General. Have you seen the video of him singing? Bizzare.

The FBI has already gathered information that is being done in a manner against our constitutional rights. This is the SECOND time the court has ruled a part of the patriot act unconsitutional.

WWII = loss of liberties, postive outcome
IRAQ = loss of liberties, negative outcome. The worst is yet to come.

Heres the latest Patriot Act Smack-down:

Geezus Mattie what would U have said about our GREATEST PREZ Abe Lincoln....U know he suspended Habeas Corpus during the CW. Doesn't seem to have effected much in the long run....

mattxbart 09-30-2004 10:14 AM

Here it is.

I could only get the windows media version to work.

mattxbart 09-30-2004 10:17 AM

Well, I guess I'd like to think we have advanced somewhat from the civil war, and WWII, but I know that is wishful thinking.

So you guys are saying in the long run everything will be okay? I'm just as confused as the next guy about the whole thing...I just don't see how this war makes any sense, I guess history will tell. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Uh. Where are the detention camps? hmmm. Didn't think so...WWII the restrictions were much worse. You were told what you could and couldn't buy.

I am no Fan of Ashcroft. ANY Pentacostal scares me. ANY religous extremist scares me. I would like to see him go in the next Bush administration.
