Does anyone ever get away in one of these chases? It seems to always end badly.

They never tell you about the ones that get away, only the ones they catch.

Did you read the article? He was sort of a utilityplayer/quasi-starter.

He was an OL starter/fill-in for 9 years--played in the 95 Super Bowl. 2 concurrrent knee injuries led him to be cut in 2000. Recentley developed an emotional disorder.

He was well-liked here in Pittsburgh, a down-to-earth guy--obviously his emotional issues took a very violent turn which led to the accident.

BlueSky's "good" comment

Although I didn't know him personally, some of my friends occasionally drank beer with him and he was supposed to have been a hell of a good guy. Too bad. God rest his soul is all any fellow human should say.
