If none of the above mentioned tools work, grab a BEER. You either forget about the orignal problem, find the answer at the bottom of the glass or bottle, or get drunk enough to attempt the repair with a little more creativeness.

Rubber mallet, you can hit stuff that isn't working right, but not break them since it's a rubber mallet, and not metal.
