Holdin down the block yo!

This is why every person should carry a gun...

http://members.shaw.ca/fivelitermustang/holdinitdown.wmv

You can tell he's high as a kite too (probably on PCP/crack), the person in the PT should've just run him over.

"I was scared for my life officer. I tried to drive away, and he came around the front (or back). That's why I ran over him. I didn't know he was under there, so I tried to go the other direction, that's why there are multiple tire marks. Just ask everyone who saw it."

One less crack head in the world.

Problem with someone like that is they've got nothing to lose. Ten years ago I would have popped out with an aluminum baseball bat & kissed him upside his cranium, now I'd be a bit more passive because I do have a lot to lose. Funny thing is that 10 years ago when I didn't have much to lose I carried a gun all the time, now it's rare for me to carry one, even though I have a permit. An incident like this one I would have to view like a tree falling on my car, a freak incident, that's why I don't park under trees that are questionable or drive through bad areas of town.

I've been in a couple of situations where I've had to pull a gun (although I didn't show it) & would not have hesitated to use it if the people threatening me didn't allow me to remove myself from the situation. I couldn't shoot someone for beating up my car without jeopardizing everything I've worked hard for.

WOW.

Takes a big man to attack a woman in a car. Id bet if he did that to a guy, he would have ran his ass over. I know I would have. "Sorry officer, I was trying to get away, but he must have gotten in the way, so I ran over his lower body"

Either that, or it s was staged, using a rent a car or something. I wonder when this occurd. I didnt see anything on the news about, and it would have been mentioned somewhere, somehow.

The whole thing looks staged to me, he just happened to have a tire iron sitting under the paper box. Why didn't she just drive up the sidewalk?

The bigger issues I caught were.,.,

He kept looking in the direction of the corner.

The video taping is stopped at one point, and restarted

He doesnt hit the drivers side of the windsheild

Nor does he hit the drivers door window.

I read with interest your post above, where you say:

I call your attention to the lyrics to "My Name is Mud" by PRIMUS:

Quote:
The breath on that fat bastard could bring any man to tears
We had our words, a common spat
So I kissed him upside the cranium with an aluminum baseball bat
My name is mud
Are you a subconscious fan of Les Claypool?

That one looks more fake...notice the kick from the first guy who ran into it...a lot of tossing arounds, but no one lands a good punch. A street brawl like that would have everyone going for the parts that hurts or bleeds the most....

If that's from the same site...then I'd say both are fake...geez!

John, it was intentional. I am a big Claypool fan & grew up in a small town that had many "Mud" like characters. That was back before kids settled their differences with guns. I used to drive around with a little aluminum baseball bat behind the seat of my pick up.

These videos, especially the second one, remind me of some kind of a ghetto Jackass, produced for entertainment & shock value.

Heh, that ones filmed at the 3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica. Lets just say this one doesn't look very fake to me (you see this type of stuff happening all the time there).

Paul..I'm with you on the bat. I grew up in gang ridden Aurora and saw guys gunned down now and then. Had a few friends blown away. But I still carried a bat, because if I'd been packing, I'd been tempted to use it when I absolutely didn't need to. Had friend get run off the road not far from the high school..they beat the crap out of him and stole...a freakin radio out of his car! Fortunately, I knew enough of the right people I never had to use the bat.

Souk. East or west side?
Anyway, If you do carry a bat in your vehicle I was advised by a CPD that I better have a ball in there too. (intent) Being in Chicago it should be a 16" or else you are some kind of sissy playing with a glove.. hah.
