OMFG -- School District Cancels Halloween Celebration b/c it Might Offend Wiccans.

where is common sense here....a bunch of kids in costume for 1/2 an hour....especially grade school kids.....come on.....if this is the case we deserve to be doomed.....

Back when I was in high school our baptist principle cancelled haloween celebrations becaused he believed the holliday was a satanic celebration.
That didn't get this kind of press though. |

I actually know a Wiccan, very nice girl. She is very intelligent so I am a little shocked by her choices. WWe haven't reallyt gotten into it deeply yet but I look forward to the conversations. Oh yea, she's a stripper
 Though that's not where I know her from(seriously). Anyway they are not "evil" people. To make it simple they worship "nature" rather than a god. Do they believe they have powers? Yea sorta, it gets a lil weird there. I'm off to dinner so I'll check in later as this is a fun topic.
