I love the Boston Red Sox taking it to the Yankees! Is there any better redemption than a $180M payroll in the toilet? Team work is a word of the past and the Yank's have never heard of it.
Schilling, has become a legend! Story are going to be told of his heroics and his desire to win. Nice time for JD to cut the lettuce and become a winner. Nothing like 6 RBI's to make the "worst series in his career" get a little better. MM |

And the great thing about it is that the Yankees didn't just tank. They battled hard. The Sox just kept coming - 12 innings, 14 innings both teams battled. In the end, the Sox just had too much heart and at least as much talent and more than enough desire.
Shilling is chowd nation's new governor/senator if he wants it. If you had said that Shilling would get lit up in game one, the Sox would have a 19-8 meltdown in game three and Manny would end up with 0 total rbi's and the Red Sox would still win, I would have said you were crazy. Now I'm totally conflicted. I want the Astros to advance, but I'm not even sure who I'll be pulling for if they get in!

This was the very best baseball can be. Truly amazing. Drama, tension, gutty performances, near collapse followed by victory. I'm afraid the Series will be a let down. We just saw the two best teams in baseball thrash each other for 7 games. I'm exhausted.

Yep, great series. No letdown on either side. Atleast I have a team to root against in the World Series now
